THE PETITION

We The People of Ireland and her Diaspora, petition both the Irish Government and the British Government to tell the truth about the Genocide and Holocaust perpetrated on the Irish people during the years of 1845-1850, by the British Army and other British Agents.

We petition for and request a public and written apology by both Governments, to the Irish People, recognizing this atrocity actually took place and we demand that the true history of that time be forever memorialized by mandating this teaching in all Irish and British schools and academic curriculums forthwith, and demand the mandatory rewriting of the history books of this era and the many lies and
​untruths that have been told for the past 175 years.

The true history of that time in Ireland is that a potato famine was NOT the cause of death for millions of Irish men, women and children. The truth is that the British Army and her agents, during a considerable potato blight, removed at gunpoint, Ireland's harvest of abundant meats, livestock, and other food crops to the ports for export; thus starving the Irish people, causing unimaginable horrors and genocide to the people of Ireland.

​A Holocaust!

Were an approximate murder toll (5.2 millions) postulated, its inevitable imprecision would be exploited to falsely impugn other stated quantities, of, e.g., food removal regiments, volumes of food seized, etc. which are precise.

We also petition the Irish and British governments to release enough funding to pay for memorial monuments at every one of the Holocaust mass graves scattered across Ireland, and to join the diaspora in supporting Irish Holocaust Commemoration Day annually on November 3 to commemorate the millions of Irish men, women and children who died of imposed starvation and the diseases attendant upon malnutrition. It was on November 3, 1845 that British Lord Heytesbury, in his Viceregal Lodge in Dublin’s Phoenix Park, officially initiated both the Holocaust and the “famine”/”Gorta Mor” lie. He did so by, respectively,
​1) rebuffing the urgent pleas of a visiting 22-man delegation to cease the food removal, and 2) by, instead, reading to them from a paper about potatoes and blight.  

Only after these basic requests have been met in full and without reservation can those poor souls and their Irish ancestors begin to find the peace of mind to both start their healing process and try to find it in their hearts to forgive this heinous crime against humanity.
